Step 20: Clear to Close
Clear to Close
We’re nearing your closing date, which hopefully means we’ll soon hear the coveted words, “You’re clear to close!”. This means the buyer's lender and the underwriter have approved the loan!
Once the Clear to Close is given, the title company will help us schedule your closing and notify us once it’s all confirmed. The buyer will also schedule the final walkthrough of the home if they requested one in the contract, which is typically done 1-3 days before closing.
The end is in sight!
