Step 20: Clear to Close
Clear to Close
We’re nearing your closing date, which hopefully means we’ll soon hear the coveted words, “You’re clear to close!”. This means your lender and the underwriter have looked at all the documents, your bank accounts, and anything else that was needed and have approved your loan!
Once the Clear to Close is given, the title company will help us schedule your closing and notify us once it’s all confirmed. We will also schedule the final walkthrough of the home, which is typically done 1-3 days before closing.
The end is in sight!
